I enjoy serving the Citizens of Marion County as their Elected Circuit Clerk.  It is a challenging job, but one I find to be rewarding. I am confident that upon entering my office that you will find my employees to be friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable of their duties.

Personal

I am a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Alabama. I have been married over 40 years to Gary Mixon, owner and operator of Northwest Alabama Heating & Cooling. I have one child, Stephanie Mixon Beasley, who is married to Steven Beasley.  I am also the proud grandmother of one granddaughter, Adelyn Beasley, and one grandson, Andrew Beasley.

Professional

I began working in the Circuit Clerk’s Office in Marion County on August 30, 2004. I was appointed as a District Court Magistrate and Deputy Clerk in January 2007. I worked in all areas of the Clerk’s Office for 11 years before being appointed to the position of Interim Circuit Clerk by Retired Judge John Bentley on July 20, 2015. After almost 3 years of being Interim Clerk, I ran for and won the elected position in 2018. I appreciate being given the opportunity to serve the Citizens of Marion County.
